MCP setup

gsd-graph mcp install

The installer supports Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and a project .mcp.json. Restart your host after registration, then check the installation:

gsd-graph mcp doctor

Select hosts explicitly when needed:

gsd-graph mcp install --host claude --host project

Default tools

`graph_answer`	Grounded answers and global themes
`graph_why`	Cited explanations of paths

`graph_diff`	Compare against a graph baseline
`graph_communities`	Detect themes; read-only unless writing is enabled
`graph_review_list`	Inspect pending review items

The resources gsd-graph://report and gsd-graph://communities expose the human report and community themes for agent briefings.

For example, register with build permission:

gsd-graph mcp install --allow-build

Restart the host after changing registration. Write permissions are off by default; choose them for the work you want your agent to perform.

A global package installation provides the stdio server:

gsd-graph-mcp

Use an absolute store path when the MCP host does not start in your project:

gsd-graph-mcp --dir /absolute/path/to/project/.gsd-graph
